Tracking Elixir in Tower Rush

The absolute core fundamental skill that separates the elite from the casuals is the ability to perfectly track the opponent's elixir.

You are making critical strategic decisions based entirely on blind hope rather than solid mathematical reality.
The Economy of Aggression
However, if you launch that exact same 8-elixir push when you know the opponent has only 2 elixir, it is mathematically impossible for them to stop it.

This situation—having significantly more energy than the opponent—is known as an 'Elixir Advantage', and creating it is the primary goal of the game.
Play safe until you know the math.A +4 elixir advantage is generally considered 'tower-taking' territory. If you are DOWN in elixir, play hyper-defensively. Practicing the Count
You must train your brain to do it subconsciously, starting with simple approximations before moving to exact numbers.

As you get comfortable with this broad tracking, start actually doing the math: "They started at 10, played a Golem (8), so they are at 2, plus two seconds of generation, they are at 3."
Elixir StateYour Required ActionYou have a massive Elixir Advantage (+4)Immediate, overwhelming aggression; punish their lack of resources before they can regenerateYou have a massive Elixir Deficit (-4)Immediate, flawless defense; sacrifice tower health if necessary to regain economic parity; do NOT attack Mastering the Economy
The elixir bar is the true, invisible scoreboard that dictates who is actually in control of the match.

Count the drops, manage your economy, and crush the mathematically inferior.
